Cleansing the Body and Mind

Lately I’ve been all over the place. So much has been happening and I can’t tell up from down. I started writing in a journal to help me sort out my feelings and that helped for a while. Now though, I’ve found what I’ve been looking for.

I started going to yoga classes at Bikram Yoga. The 90 minute session in a  105 degree room leave me feeling rejuvenated and exhilarated.  I have never felt so challenged in my life, nor have I worked so hard to perfect something. In yoga, I have found solace. The meditation helps me relax my body, and more importantly, my mind. It helps me let go of all the stress, hurt, anger, frustration, and helplessness I feel lately. In a world where so little can be controlled, I have found some control. Control over my my body and control over my mind.

I encourage everyone to go out and try yoga. It will quite literally change your life. I guarantee it.
